NDP Leader Thomas Mulcair and interim Liberal Leader Bob Rae questioned Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz's handling of the XL Foods beef recall.

NDP critics Peter Julian (Energy and Natural Resources) and Hélène LeBlanc (Industry), as well as Thomas Mulcair, spoke to reporters about the proposed Nexen takeover. The party is calling for public consultations on the impact of the deal.
