Senators hold a rare Friday sitting to continue their debate on the suspension of three colleagues. Former Conservative Senators Mike Duffy, Pamela Wallin and Patrick Brazeau may lose their pay over disputed expense claims. Embattled senator Patrick Brazeau is questioned over his allegations that he was offered a "backroom deal" by the government leader of the Senate if he apologized for his expense claims. Government Senate Leader Claude Carignan responds to the allegations. NDP House Leader Nathan Cullen and Senate Opposition Leader James Cowan also react. Senators Jean-Guy Dagenais, Don Plett, and Marjorie Lebreton also speak to reporters about the Senate suspension debate.
