The Appellant is wanted in the United States for prosecution for certain drug offences. It is alleged that the appellant and others exported drugs from Canada into the state of Minnesota. The appellant was being wiretapped in Canada. Canadian law enforcement sent the wiretaps or information about the wiretaps to United States law enforcement. The extradition order of committal was granted and the Minister of Justice made an order of surrender. The Court of Appeal dismissed the appeal of the extradition order. The Court of Appeal also dismissed application for judicial review of the surrender order.
