Tête à tête
Dennis Dawson
The Revue Politique “Tête à Tête” series delves into the lives of newsmakers, movers and shakers. In these in-depth and personal conversations, Pierre Donais sits down with guests to discuss their life experiences and to reveal what drives them today. In this episode, Pierre speaks with Dennis Dawson, Liberal Senator (Lauzon, Quebec). Mr. Dawson studied political science and business administration. He is one of the youngest persons ever elected as a school board trustee in Quebec. In 1977, Mr. Dawson was elected as one of the youngest Liberal MPs in Canadian history to sit in the House of Commons, where he served his constituents of Louis-Hébert for three consecutive terms. Before his appointment to the Senate in 2005, Dawson managed governmental relations for various clients Canada-wide.
