The Revue Politique “Tête à Tête” series delves into the lives of newsmakers, movers and shakers. In these in-depth and personal conversations, Pierre Donais sits down with guests to discuss their life experiences and to reveal what drives them today.

In this episode, Pierre speaks with Jean Cournoyer, who was a Quebec Labour Minister in Premier Robert Bourassa’s government during the 1970s. Mr. Cournoyer has been a lawyer, industrial relations advisor, as well as a radio and television host. He replaced Pierre Laporte as Quebec Minister of Labour after Mr. Laporte’s murder during the October Crisis in Quebec.

Drawing on four decades of radio and TV experience, Pierre has a reputation for being as personable as he is astute. He joined CPAC in 2003 to host Revue Politique, a nightly review of the day’s politics for Francophone viewers. He also delves into the personal with guests on Tête à Tête. A former anchor and journalist at TQS and Télémédia CIMF-FM in Outaouais, Pierre also served as radio host and station manager. He has recently completed his Master’s degree in law at the University of Ottawa.
