The Revue Politique “Tête à Tête” series delves into the lives of newsmakers, movers and shakers. In these in-depth and personal conversations, Pierre Donais sits down with guests to discuss their life experiences and to reveal what drives them today.
In this episode, Pierre speaks with former Parti Québécois minister Denis Vaugeois. Trained as an historian, Mr. Vaugeois is the author of various studies dealing mainly with the French presence in America, Aboriginals, and the Jewish community. He was also co-author and co-publisher of the historical publication “Boréal Express.” From 2001 to 2005, he was president of the Association nationale des éditeurs de livres (national book publishers association), and from 2005 to 2006, he co-chaired the “Montreal World Book Capital” event.
Drawing on four decades of radio and TV experience, Pierre has a reputation for being as personable as he is astute. He joined CPAC in 2003 to host Revue Politique, a nightly review of the day’s politics for Francophone viewers. He also delves into the personal with guests on Tête à Tête. A former anchor and journalist at TQS and Télémédia CIMF-FM in Outaouais, Pierre also served as radio host and station manager. He has recently completed his Master’s degree in law at the University of Ottawa.
