In this episode, Pierre speaks with Mathias Rioux. Mr. Rioux started his professional life as a teacher with Montreal’s Catholic School Board from 1961–1967. He later became president of the Alliance des professeurs du Québec teachers’ union. He worked briefly in media before going into provincial politics as a member of the Parti Québécois. He held various ministerial positions in the Lucien Bouchard government, and was appointed a member of the Commission municipale du Québec in March 2003.
