In this episode, Pierre speaks with Marie Robillard, who is very involved with British Columbia's French-speaking community. The Montreal native settled in Victoria, B.C., with her husband in 1961. In 1985, she became the first president of the Association historique francophone de Victoria. In 1995, she was awarded the Ordre de la fidélité française an Amérique. Today, she works with seniors' groups in Victoria and regularly participates in activities affecting her community.
