Monique Jérôme-Forget

In this episode, Pierre Donais welcomes Monique Jérôme-Forget. Monique Jérôme-Forget sat as an MNA in Quebec’s National Assembly from 1998 to 2009. During her tenure, she was Finance Minister, President of the Treasury Board and Minister of government services as well as Minister responsible of the government administration. She served as Vice Rector of Concordia University, Assistant Deputy Minister in the federal Department of Health and Welfare in Ottawa, Chair and CEO of Quebec’s Commission de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CSST) and Chair of the Institut de recherche et sécurité du travail.

Drawing on four decades of radio and TV experience, Pierre has a reputation for being as personable as he is astute. He joined CPAC in 2003 to host Revue Politique, a nightly review of the day’s politics for Francophone viewers. He also delves into the personal with guests on Tête à Tête. A former anchor and journalist at TQS and Télémédia CIMF-FM in Outaouais, Pierre also served as radio host and station manager. He has recently completed his Master’s degree in law at the University of Ottawa.
