In this episode, Pierre Donais interviews Anne-France Goldwater. Anne-France Goldwater is a Montreal family lawyer. She has authored several articles on parental alienation. She recently published major articles on unjustified enrichment between common law spouses and the new legal challenges on filiation in cases of assisted reproduction. Goldwater is best known for her success in the case of Eric vs. Lola, in which she successfully challenged the validity of laws denying common law spouses the right to claim spousal support upon separation, in a unanimous Quebec Court of Appeal judgment.
Drawing on four decades of radio and TV experience, Pierre has a reputation for being as personable as he is astute. He joined CPAC in 2003 to host Revue Politique, a nightly review of the day’s politics for Francophone viewers. He also delves into the personal with guests on Tête à Tête. A former anchor and journalist at TQS and Télémédia CIMF-FM in Outaouais, Pierre also served as radio host and station manager. He has recently completed his Master’s degree in law at the University of Ottawa.
