Diane Bellemare a été nommée au Sénat par le premier ministre Stephen Harper le 6 septembre 2012. Trained as an economist, Diane Bellemare taught at the Université du Québec à Montréal from 1972 to 1994. She worked for the Société québécoise de développement de la main-d’œuvre and also with the Conseil du Patronat du Québec. Ms. Bellemare ran as an Action Démocratique du Québec candidate in the April 2003 provincial election. In 2008, she ran in a by-election as well as the Quebec election held that same year.
Drawing on four decades of radio and TV experience, Pierre has a reputation for being as personable as he is astute. He joined CPAC in 2003 to host Revue Politique, a nightly review of the day’s politics for Francophone viewers. He also delves into the personal with guests on Tête à Tête. A former anchor and journalist at TQS and Télémédia CIMF-FM in Outaouais, Pierre also served as radio host and station manager. He has recently completed his Master’s degree in law at the University of Ottawa.
