The swinging 60s ushered in a new breed of politician and no one embodied this more than Pierre Elliott Trudeau. He made politics exciting and relevant to a new generation. In 1968 Trudeaumania swept Canada and Pierre Elliott Trudeau became a “political superstar.” Canadians were part of an election campaign the likes of which they had never seen before. It was the changing of the old guard that lead to the birth of a new Canada.

A distinctive and popular personality with more than two decades of reporting and anchoring experience, Peter is a well-known journalist in Canada’s political arena.
