The Walrus Talks Conversations About Canada : We Desire a Better Country The Walrus Foundation, in partnership with the Order of Canada and Canada 150, host a national tour focusing on the future of the country. The tour visits each province and territory over a three-month period, and features 50 Order of Canada recipients and 50 youth leaders. The tour visits the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Featuring: Anand Mahadevan (educator and author), Rebecca Thomas (Mi'kmaw poet and activist), Charles Pachter (painter, printmaker, sculptor, designer, historian, and lecturer), Fred Fountain (investor, philanthropist, and poet), Jane Urquhart (novelist and poet), Desmond Cole (freelance journalist and activist), Aaron Taylor (member, Prime Minister's Youth Council), and Molly Johnson (jazz vocalist and songwriter).
