The Walrus Talks Conversations About Canada : We Desire a Better Country The Walrus Foundation, in partnership with the Order of Canada and Canada 150, host a national tour focusing on the future of the country. The tour visits each province and territory over a three-month period, and features 50 Order of Canada recipients and 50 youth leaders. The tour heads to Surrey City Hall in British Columbia. Featuring: Sadia Rafiquddin (freelance journalist, photographer and writer), Paisley Smith (filmmaker and virtual-reality creator), Kim Baird (BC First Nation leader), Aaron Mills (Trudeau Scholar, lawyer and doctoral candidate), Anne Giardini (chancellor, Simon Fraser University), Charmaine Crooks (five-time Olympian), and Mustafa Ahmed (writer, poet, and musician). Hear from extraordinary Canadians as they talk about the country and share their visions for the future.
