C-SPAN This Week

The National Review's Jay Nordlinger appeared on CSPAN's Washington Journal to argue that Canada's Stephen Harper is the role model U.S. republicans should learn to emulate if they want to regain power. March 13

The Senate Judiciary Committee was the scene of a heated debate over a proposed ban to specific military-style rifles and shotguns that could be interpreted as an infringement on rights guaranteed under the Second Amendment. March 14

CPAC, the Conservative Political Action Conference, sponsored a debate between libertarian conservative Tucker Carlson and democrat Paul Begala at their annual conference in Washington. March 14

Thank you, Jay, for your erudite and refreshing analysis of Canada's prime minister and his policy stances. I am proud to have Harper leading my country, with his sane and, as you say, pragmatic conservative policies. I tried to phone in to the show to speak with you and to counter the many leftie callers, but the lines were clogged. I'll be watching for you and your writings.
