Question Period

Questions from party leaders, critics and MPs in the House of Commons.

It seems to me that the Conservatives are not able to understand the questions being so eloquently presented by the other federal party members. I hear the questions and I hear the answers. The scripted unrelated "answers" provide no value to me as a Canadian. Therefore you are not representing me. I hear Conservative responses that try to divert attention to some issue not relevant to the budget discussion in this case. If the Conservatives are so afraid of questions or unable to understand and respond to the simplest of question, they might want to start looking for a new career. The Conservatives actually mentioned again the Accountability Act of a few years ago and how great it is (This in answer to a question on the current budget). Did you forget about the Kevin Page situation? That Mr Page wanted more transparency and accountability on issues and the Conservatives were not forthcoming. He has been replaced by the parliamentary librarian? Who probably already has a full time employment? Actually we Canadians do expect the Conservative government to answer the questions from across the house. I am seeing diversions, and ridiculous answers. As a Canadian I ask the Conservatives to act like elected officials, represent the Canadian people, stand up and answer the questions or step aside and let the real adults do the work of governing.

QP is getting bad. Today is a greatly exaggerated example of how and why. Questions are rarely answered to my satisfaction as a voter.

The conservatives and Tim Uppal trying to use the straw man argument of the NDP being above traffic laws is ludicrous.

Heard enough of this garbage. Both parties suck, the system is broken, time for change.
