Two points: The Conservatives defend the purchase by saying that no money was spent, however, if it hadn't been for the reports of the Parliamentary Budget officer and the Auditor General, the Conservatives would have steamrolled through Parliament the purchase of the jet. Second point- the fact that there is no accountability on the part of any Minister is a powerful comment on the character of the Prime Minister. Apparently, loyalty trumps honesty and integrity. Together these amount to a huge breach of trust with the Canadian people. Shame on Mr. Harper.
