Friday and Sunday on CPAC
(Ottawa, May 1, 2012) – You saw the media highlights – now you can watch it in its entirety. This Friday, CPAC presents last weekend’s 2012 White House Correspondents’ Dinner from Washington, DC. The annual dinner, now in its 98th year, brings together members of the press corps and the officials they cover, in a long-standing tradition that allows both sides to set aside differences and enjoy good-natured barbs. Hosted by late-night TV host Jimmy Kimmel, the evening saw U.S. President Barack Obama take the stage to entertain the crowd and joke about his inaugural campaign, the upcoming race to the White House, the Secret Service and Donald Trump.
