Don’t miss a minute of Canada Day on CPAC
(Ottawa, June 26, 2013) – July 1st, CPAC presents a full day of specials in celebration of Canada’s 146th birthday. Live from Parliament Hill, broadcasts will include coverage of the Noon Show, featuring Canadian performers and special guests including Chris Hadfield and throughout the day and evening the Outburst team brings viewers sights and sounds from the nation’s capital and talks to Canadians as they enjoy the celebrations. Beginning at 2:00 p.m., watch conversations with all six of Canada’s living former Prime Ministers on Beyond Politics, with host Catherine Clark. This full day of festivities will be capped with a live presentation of the fireworks from Jacques Cartier Park beginning at 10:00 p.m.
CPAC Special: Canada Day NOON Show

CPAC will broadcast the NOON show live from Parliament Hill with an outstanding lineup of Canadian performers including Carly Rae Jepsen and very special guests such as Chris Hadfield.
Beyond Politics – Canada Day Prime Ministers Marathon
Beginning at 2:00 p.m. ET
Catherine Clark interviews all six living former Prime Ministers in this special edition of Beyond Politics. Don’t miss these informal conversations with Canada’s former leaders.
Canada Day Sights and Sounds
11:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. ET and several other LIVE hits throughout the day
Outburst’s Glen McInnis shares the sights and sounds of the nation’s capital and asks visitors what it means to be Canadian.
Throughout the day, collaborators Puneet Birgi, Heather Seaman and Joëlle-Ann Blanchette will also be bringing viewers glimpses of the various events and visitors in Ottawa as they celebrate our nation’s birthday.
Fireworks – beginning at 10:00 p.m. ET
As the nightcap on Canada’s largest Canada Day celebrations, CPAC brings you the spectacular fireworks display from Jacques Cartier Park in Ottawa.
