Sunday on C-SPAN This Week

(Ottawa, March 16, 2012) – Turn to CPAC this Sunday for a star-powered edition of C-SPAN This Week as George Clooney testifies in Washington, DC, about the dire situation in Sudan. The Hollywood actor appeared March 14 before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to discuss his trip to the area last week where he saw firsthand the destruction caused by the Sudanese military's bombing of the region between the Sudan and South Sudan. Clooney was accompanied at the hearing by John Pendergrast, co-founder of the Enough Project and Jonathan Temin from the U.S. Institute of Peace's Sudan Project.
