Lady Thatcher Remembered
Tomorrow on CPAC
(Ottawa, April 16, 2013) – Tomorrow, CPAC brings viewers live coverage from London of the funeral for former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher who passed away on April 8. A military procession is planned before an official service at St. Paul’s Cathedral for the retired stateswoman who was leader of the United Kingdom from 1979 to 1990. A number of dignitaries are expected to be in attendance, including Prime Minister Stephen Harper and former Prime Minister Brian Mulroney. Watch as the world says goodbye to a formidable woman who earned the reputation of Iron Lady.
