LIVE on CPAC: Ontario Press Council hearings into
allegations of unethical & irresponsible newspaper reporting

OTTAWA, September 6, 2013 – On Monday, September 9, 2013, join CPAC for LIVE coverage of hearings by the Ontario Press Council on complaints against two major newspaper outlets.
The hearings pertain to two distinct articles, one published by the Toronto Star on May 16th, 2013 making allegations towards Toronto Mayor Rob Ford, and one published by the Globe and Mail
on May 25th, 2013 making allegations towards Toronto Councillor Doug Ford. Each of the hearings will consider whether the publication involved has engaged in irresponsible, unethical
investigative reporting.
