(Ottawa, March 13, 2013) – Tonight, CPAC brings viewers the only live, national, uninterrupted coverage of the public memorial from Peterborough, Ontario, for the late Canadian icon, Thomas Charles "Stompin' Tom" Connors. The musician, best known for songs including ‘Bud the Spud,’ ‘Sudbury Saturday Night,’ and ‘The Hockey Song,’ passed away on March 6th at the age of 77. Join CPAC beginning at 7pm ET as family, friends, and Canadians pay tribute to a man whose patriotic pride lives on.
