Senator Jim Munson
Talks Life Beyond Politics

(Ottawa, December 12, 2012) – This Sunday, Liberal Senator Jim Munson joins host Catherine Clark for a one-on-one interview about life outside of the Upper Chamber. As a young boy growing up in Campbellton, New Brunswick, Jim used to read the papers before delivering them to households on his paper route. He landed a job in radio after high school and counts John G. Diefenbaker as his first interview. An illustrious journalism career followed taking him from the centre of the FLQ crisis in 1970 to Tiananmen Square in the 1980s. After leaving journalism, he joined Prime Minister Jean Chrétien as his Director of Communications and was later appointed to the Senate. Today, he is an advocate for children with autism and the Special Olympics. See this journalist-turned-Senator share his journey and reveal what inspires him today.

Another great interview. I was particularly happy to hear that Bruce intends to "Bop until he Drops".
Blockhead basher:
Ah, now I see. Definitely dealing with a blockhead. Fear mongering, war mongering, ya that's rational (if your a blockhead).
