A Unique Window on Chinese Government
(Ottawa, March 16, 2012) – This Sunday, CPAC takes viewers across the world for a unique look at the workings of government in China. On March 14, the Chinese government announced sweeping changes to the criminal code, the first major reforms in over 15 years, at the annual National People's Congress in Beijing. At the closing press conference, Premier Wen Jiabao, in the final year of his ten year mandate, takes questions on those reforms from the press, as well as questions on free elections, the slowing rate of economic growth and the situation in Syria. See it on World Showcase, this Sunday on CPAC.
