An accomplished pianist, amateur sommelier and cat lover, Conservative MP Michelle Rempel talks to Catherine Clark about her life Beyond Politics.
Michelle Rempel is a Winnipeg native and graduate in economics of the University of Manitoba., Michelle came to Calgary with her husband, an actuary, to take on the position of Director of Institutional Programs at the University of Calgary.
Michelle's work on Diane Ablonczy's election campaign in 2008 earned her notice among Conservative Party officials and in 2011 she was asked to put her name forward as the candidate for Calgary Centre-North, a riding previously held by one-time cabinet minister Jim Prentice.
