FERTILE FUTURE
Parliamentarians from various parties attend the third annual Hope Live fundraising event in support of Fertile Future. Every year at least 10,000 Canadians between the ages of 20 and 44 are diagnosed with cancer. An estimated 80 per cent will survive. Fertile Future works to provide these patients with vital information about fertility preservation, so biological children remains a possibility after cancer. Glen McInnis talks with organizer Heidi Bonnell and MPs.

A BETTER WAY?
Last month, New Democrat MP Bruce Hyer tabled a motion to hopefully increase cross-party cooperation on private member's bills. After the stunning defeat of his climate change bill in the Senate last week, Hyer reacted by looking for ways MPs can team up on legislation, even if it means working with other parties. Glen sits down with Hyer to discuss the issue in detail.

COMFORTING THE YOUNG
The Lighthouse Program for Grieving Children is a beacon of light in Conservative MP Terence Young's Oakville, Ont. riding. It offers hope and encouragement to children and teens that have lost a loved one, by providing peer support in a safe, caring non-judgmental setting. Young is an active supporter.

FAITH AT THE TABLE
Glen attends the Interfaith National Breakfast, put on by the all-party Interfaith Parliamentary Friendship Group. The group's aim is to promote understanding and dialogue between parliamentarians, diplomats and Canada's many faith communities. Glen speaks with MPs from different parties, including Conservative David Sweet, Liberal John McKay, and New Democrat Tony Martin, as well as American ambassador David Jacobson.
