It’s a colourful celebration that has a decade-long history of being commemorated on the Hill. More than 500 people, including Prime Minister Stephen Harper, cabinet ministers and members of Parliament attended the 12th annual Diwali celebration. Hosted by Conservative MP Deepak Obhrai, Diwali on Parliament has become an annual tradition for many in the Indo-Canadian community.
