Every year, over 300 students attend Queen’s Model Parliament in Ottawa, where young Canadians take on the role of MPs and debate legislation inside the House of Commons. Puneet Birgi follows five students acting as party leaders during the three-day ‘mock’ parliament and talks to actual parliamentarians about the importance of inspiring young Canadians to take a greater role in public life.
