Cardigan
Liberal MP Lawrence MacAuley has held a seat in Parliament for 23 years. He will be looking to extend his representation for the P.E.I. riding of Cardigan yet again against two first-time candidates. The Conservatives are running a former MLA of P.E.I. in Mike Currie, while the Green Party nominated poet and author Leslie Stewart to carry their flag. The NDP candidate, Lorne Cudmore will run federally for the first time since 1984.
