Linda Duncan of the NDP holds the only seat in all of Alberta that doesn’t belong to the Conservatives. She beat out then Conservative incumbent Rahim Jaffer in the previous election by only 1%. Replacing Jaffer on the ballot for the Conservatives is small business owner Ryan Hastman. The Liberals have nominated MacEwan University student Matthew Sinclair, and the Green Party have selected Andrew Fehr of Greenpeace Alberta to represent them. Rounding out the ballot are independent candidates Kyle Murphy and Christopher White, and Kevan Hunter of the Marxist-Leninist Party.
