Lac-Saint-Louis
Nothing spices up an election campaign more than a new, high-profile candidate. That’s the case in the Montreal island riding of Lac-Saint-Louis. Former Montreal Alouettes player and CEO, Conservative Larry Smith, is vying for a touchdown over Liberal incumbent Francis Scarpaleggia. But Scarpaleggia has held the riding since 2004, winning by wide margins in the last three elections. The NDP’s Alain Ackad, the BQ’s Éric Taillefer and Green Party candidate Bruno Tremblay will also be on the ballot.
