Malpeque
The P.E.I. riding of Malpeque has been held by the Liberals since 1988, and incumbent Wayne Easter has held the seat since 1993. Contending for Easter’s seat during this campaign are newcomers Tim Ogilvie of the Conservatives and Rita Jackson of the NDP. Ogilvie, who was announced as the Conservative candidate in 2009, is former past-dean of the Atlantic Veterinary College, while Jackson is a Canadian Forces veteran. Rounding out the list is dentist and second-time candidate Peter Bevan-Baker of the Green Party.
CPAC’s Bill Kendrick visits the riding and the candidates to discuss the issues.
