THE PROVINCIAL CAMPAIGN IN ONTARIO
The 40th provincial election will be held on Thursday, October 6.

Gail Dugas is in Ontario to talk with the party leaders and to discover what voters are thinking.

It's the closest race Ontario has seen in decades. Running for his third term as premier is Liberal Leader Dalton McGuinty. He's led the party since 1996 and says he needs four more years to finish what he started. Progressive Conservative Leader Tim Hudak and NDP Leader Andrea Horwath face their first campaigsn as party bosses. Hudak is telling voters that Ontario can not afford four more years of McGuinty, while Horwath believes her party is the change Ontario needs. Mike Schreiner is the leader of the Ontario Green party. One of his party's goals include getting at least one Green MPP elected.
