West Nova
Conservative MP Greg Kerr will be looking to hold on to the Nova Scotia Seat of West Nova. Kerr, a former provincial finance minister, won the seat in the previous election from then-Liberal incumbent Robert Thibault. As a former fisheries minister, Thibault will attempt to regain his seat in the House of Commons. Joining Kerr and Thibault on the ballot are certified home inspector Ross Johnson of the Green Party and returning NDP candidate George Baron, who for more than 20 years has been a paramedic.
