Former NDP Leader Ed Broadbent is among the witnesses who testify as part of the committee's ongoing study of income inequality. The chair of the Broadbent Institute discusses policy solutions for reducing the inequality problem.

Veall (McMaster University, as an individual), Peter Dinsdale (Assembly of First Nations), Armine Yalnizyan (Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives), Peggy Taillon (Canadian Council on Social Development), Michel Venne (Institut du Nouveau Monde), Nicole Fortin (University of British Columbia, as an individual), and Nicolas Zorn (Institut du Nouveau Monde) also present their views and recommendations.

Some very good points oft reiterated by many people in many fields. I watch this on June 3 and find that no "dent" was made since the April 30th committee meeting. As usual, the words may have been heard, but not listened to. How many of us must make these comments BEFORE politicians ACT!
