In Committee From The House Of Commons

Procedure and House Affairs

The committee deals with two topics during the meeting. Richard Fujarczuk first discusses his appointment as law clerk and parliamentary counsel for the House of Commons.

Canada's chief electoral officer Marc Mayrand then presents his office's main estimates and responds to questions about Election Canada's two reports on robocalls during the 2011 federal election campaign and on voting process rules. The Federal Court recently ruled that electoral fraud was committed in 2011 in the form of misleading phone calls.
