Simon Bird, vice-chief of the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations, discusses how aboriginal people are overrepresented in the criminal justice system as victims and offenders in both the youth and adult systems. He also argues why the justice system should be re-evaluated in regards to indigenous lifelong learning and education, terms of good governance, economic well-being, and health and social well-being.
