Banking, Trade and Commerce

Senators continue their examination of Bill C-28, which amends the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada Act.

Donald Stewart, the former chair of the Task Force on Financial Literacy, Laurie Campbell of Credit Canada Debt Solutions, and Douglas Melville from the Ombudsman for Banking Services and Investments discuss the task force’s recommendations to improve financial literacy for Canadians.

Gary Rabbior of the Canadian Foundation for Economic Education, Nicholas Cheung from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, Tom Hamza of the Investor Education Fund, Eleanor Farrell from the Ontario Securities Commission, and John Hope Bryant of Operation HOPE also address the bill.

I was with the Canadian Forces in 2009, was ordered to get the H1N1 shot (AREPANRIX by GSK GlaxoSmithKline) and had an adverse reaction to t
