Energy, the Environment and Natural Resources

The committee continues with its study on the safety of hydrocarbon transportation in Canada. The first section of the study will focus on safety elements relating to transmission pipelines.

Canadian Common Ground Alliance representatives Jim Tweedie and Michael Sullivan and Paula Dunlop from the Canadian Gas Association testify. The witnesses discuss the work of their organizations in reducing damage and ensuring public safety in connection with underground infrastructure.
