Energy, the Environment and Natural Resources

Senators continue their discussion on the current state of the safety elements of bulk transport of hydrocarbon products in Canada. Kevin Gardner and Scott Wright of the Western Canada Marine Response Corporation testify about their organizational mandate, their relationships with government agencies, and preparedness and training for oil spills.

In the second panel, Glen Wilson and Brent Dornian of Canadian Pacific discuss their transportation safety processes when transporting hydrocarbons country-wide, environmental impacts, and their relations with Transport Canada.
