In Committee from the Senate of Canada

Legal and Constitutional Affairs

Senators continue their review of a bill (C-15) that aims to strengthen the military justice system.

Law professors Michel W. Drapeau from the University of Ottawa, and Ian Holloway from the University of Calgary as well as lawyer Joshua Juneau first present their view on the proposed legislation that will amend the National Defence Act and other acts.

The committee then hears from Peter Tinsley, former chair of the Military Police Complaints Commission, and Gilles Létourneau, former justice of the Court Martial Appeals Court.
