National Dialogue on Health Care
On January 26th, the Canadian Medical Association held its first town hall event in Halifax on ideas to transform the health care system. The panel discussion featured Ken MacQueen from Maclean's, CMA president Dr. Jeff Turnbull, Maclean's national editor Andrew Coyne, Dr. Jane Brooks, president of Doctors Nova Scotia, Maureen Summers, CEO of the Canadian Cancer Society - Nova Scotia Division, and Dr. John Ross, Nova Scotia provincial advisor on emergency care.
