The House resumes its consideration of Bill C-87, the Customs Tariff Act, with speeches by Jean-Robert Gauthier, Iain Angus, Jean-Guy Hudon (Parliamentary Secretary to the Secretary of State for External Affairs), Aideen Nicholson, Lorne Nystrom, Michael Wilson, Vic Althouse, Marion Dewar, David Orlikow, Les Benjamin, and Don Boudria.

In Question Period, Prime Minister Brian Mulroney faces a barrage of questions concerning the findings of the Parker Commission, which, in its investigation of former cabinet member Sinclair Stevens, found numerous instances of conflict of interest.

The House resumes its second reading of Bill C-54, a bill to amend the Criminal Code, with Mr. Orlikow and Mr. Boudria participating in the debate.

Members resume their consideration of a private member’s motion by John Reimer concerning the inclusion of property rights in the Constitution; Mr. Boudria, Stan Darling, Mr. Orlikow, Ross Belsher, W. Paul McCrossan, Mr. Benjamin, and Dave Nickerson speak.
