Ian Waddell introduces a motion for concurrence on a report from the Standing Committee on Energy, Mines and Resources; Cyril Keeper, Dan Heap, George Baker, and Margaret Mitchell respond. The House resumes consideration of Bill C-19, legislation dealing with motor vehicle transport. Members continue debate on a private member’s motion calling for an elected Senate; Nic Leblanc, George Baker, David Kilgour (Parliamentary Secretary to Minister of Transport), Rod Murphy, Anne Blouin, and Dave Nickerson speak.
