2nd Session—33rd Parliament

It’s opposition day in the House and George Henderson introduces a motion condemning the government for its mismanagement of Canada’s fisheries; there are speeches by Thomas Siddon (Minister of Fisheries and Oceans), Ray Skelly, George Baker, John C. Crosbie (Minister of Transport), Fernand Robichaud, and John McDermid (Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for International Trade).

In Question Period, Mr. Crosbie answers questions about the effects of the Canada–U.S. Free Trade Agreement on the marine transportation industry and on railways; Agriculture Minister John Wise responds to questions on the Special Canadian Grains Program; and Mr. McDermid answers questions on the food processing industry.
