In this episode Glen visits Newfoundland and Labrador where July 1 is also recognized as Memorial Day. Learn about the brave Newfoundlanders and Labradorians who fought in the Battle of the Somme at Beaumont-Hamel, France. On July 1, 1916, 801 members of the 1st Newfoundland Regiment fought in that battle and only 68 answered the roll call the next morning. Travel to Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia and find out how dinosaur fossils are breathing life into the town of Tumbler Ridge and take a historical tour of the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa.
