A cross-country adventure exploring the sights, sounds, and stories that make Canada interesting and unique.

Join host Glen McInnis as he travels across the country for a special Canada Day edition.

In this episode, Glen visits Newfoundland and Labrador, where July 1st is also recognized as Memorial Day. Learn about the brave Newfoundlanders and Labradorians who fought in the Battle of the Somme at Beaumont-Hamel, France. On July 1, 1916, 801 members of the 1st Newfoundland Regiment fought in that battle and only 68 answered the roll call the next morning.

Next, travel to Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia and find out how dinosaur fossils are breathing life into the town of Tumbler Ridge.

Then, take a historical tour of the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa.
