Commission of Inquiry into the Investigation of the Bombing of Air India Flight 182

Witnesses: Bernard Grenier, Martin Rudner

Bernard Grenier (Quebec Bar Association) continues to testify under direct examination by Commission Counsel Michel Dorval about various issues and challenges related to complex, lengthy criminal trials. Commissioner John C. Major also asks a number of questions in the course of Mr. Grenier’s testimony. Loretta Colton (Counsel for the Attorney General of Canada) briefly cross-examines the witness. Martin Rudner (Carleton University) testifies under direct examination by Commission Counsel Mark J. Freiman about intelligence, international terrorism, the concept of the “terrorist cycle,” and the most effective intelligence and law-enforcement responses at different stages of the terrorist cycle.
