Commission of Inquiry into the Investigation of the Bombing of Air India Flight 182

Witnesses: Reg Trudel, Neil Passmore, Dan Mayer, Louise M. Doyon

The Commission continues to hear testimony from a panel of RCMP members, including Reg Trudel, Neil Passmore, and Dan Mayer, on the subject of threat assessments, the work of producing threat assessments, and the various units within the RCMP responsible for the assessments. Jacques Shore (Counsel for the Air India Victims’ Families Association) cross-examines the witnesses, asking about the need for improved cooperation between the RCMP and the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS). Louise M. Doyon (Director-General of the Intelligence Assessment Branch (IAB) at CSIS) testifies under direct examination by Mr. Kapoor about the IAB’s mandate, the various agencies and departments receiving CSIS intelligence and assessments, and a variety of related matters. Mr. Shore cross-examines Ms. Doyon.
