Commission of Inquiry into the Investigation of the Bombing of Air India Flight 182

Witnesses: Laurie MacDonell, Robert Wall

Laurie MacDonell (a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)) continues to testify. Under direct examination by Commission Counsel Anil Kapoor, Mr. MacDonell speaks about his work on the Air India investigation, his relationship with Tara Singh Hayer, and related matters. Mr. Kapoor also asks Mr. MacDonell about his knowledge of disputes between the RCMP and the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) and about various matters related to the RCMP investigation into the bombing of Air India flight 182. Robert Wall (a former member of the RCMP) testifies under direct examination by Mr. Kapoor about his work with the Air India task force. Mr. Kapoor asks Mr. Wall about challenges in obtaining information from CSIS and other issues.
